Bethany Baptist Church
BROAD BROOK, CT
Nursery
Our infant nursery is well equipped to provide for newborns as well as little ones under 24 months of age. Young children between two and three years of age are accommodated in our regular nursery where they are taught Bible stories and have the opportunity to complete scripture related lessons and crafts. Our two and three year old's participate in all of our Sunday School and holiday programs.
Sunday school
Grades 1 - 12 are taught in separate classrooms in the lower level of the church. We follow the public schools with respect to promoting children to the next level. We have a special class for those children with particular needs. Every class has a teacher plus helpers. Our goal is to ensure that the children entrusted to us receive solid Biblical instruction in an atmosphere that is pleasant, fun, and conducive to learning.

Adult Sunday School is held in the sanctuary area of the church. Classes are taught by one of our pastors. Various books of the Bible or biblical topics are studied in depth with opportunities for questions and answers during class time. The church uses the King James Version of the Bible exclusively.
Bus Ministry
Bethany's Bus and Van ministry is an evangelistic outreach ministry to area children and their families providing an opportunity for children to attend Sunday School, Junior Church services, and Vacation Bible School as well as other activities such as Master Clubs and Camp Northfield.
JR. Church
Our church provides a service time for children ages 4 years old and up through the 6th grade. This Junior Church service takes place on Sunday mornings in the lower level of our church starting at 10:30 AM. This service time includes games, music, missionary stories, and lesson time.
TEEn Ministry
The mission of the Teen Ministry is to develop a solid youth group built upon the foundation of God's word: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” II Timothy 3:16-17
B.A.M.
Bethany's Activity Ministry provides fellowship and service opportunities for church friends and family through various organized activities during the year.
CHURCH LIBRARY
Church libraries are unique for many reasons: they provide for continued and in-depth study of God’s Word, allow insight into the lives of missionaries and evangelists, stir the soul with God- honoring music, and help parents to be better parents and teachers to be better teachers. Those are just a few of the benefits of the church library; there are many more.
